As household a name as Folgers, Marlboro or Kraft Mac 'n Cheese, this Ford Mustang is the longest surviving of the affordable breed of classic American muscle cars. Sold always in coupe since its 1964 introduction, this Ford Mustang is the only one of the original pony cars to enjoy an uninterrupted production run. Styling changes for 2010 give the Mustang a more modern, less retro appearance. This new car features a forward-swept grille like its predecessor, but it has a compressed look and a new power-dome hood. The grille also carries a new Mustang badge, and the front fenders feature smoother styling. This 2010 comes with 4.0-liter V-6 that makes 210 horsepower and 240 pounds-feet of torque. This car runs great on regular fuel, Ford notes, and fuel economy is good at 16/24 mpg city/highway. Premium fuel can be used as well; this car's computer system adapts the engine timing automatically to match the octane of the fuel and prevent any valve knocking. Ford didn't abandon the general cabin layout of the previous model with this 2010's new interior, as the similarities are clearly there when you look at both interiors side by side. However, this new Mustang does have its own look, and it makes wider use of premium materials, including a new soft-touch dashboard surface.
